TALK EVENING ABOUT ROLE OF MEDIA

September 30, 2005

At the Vlaams Belang-secretary in regio Malines (Flandre), a talk evening was planned concerning the media in Belgium whom is almost completely under the influence of the political correctness.
A professional objective attitude is this days in the world of journalism hard to find in our country.
Freedom of speech in the media is a garantied ticket to non-employment. It doesn't matter that you're chiefredactor of an important paper. Write something (or allow someone to write it) that is taboe in this political correct regime and you'll face the consequences.
It happend with chiefredactor Luc van Loon of the paper 'Gazet van Antwerpen'.
And there are many more examples to find. After all, we are living in a fake democraty.

Politician Jurgen Verstrepen of Vlaams Belang would be the commentator this evening but because of some double booking in his agenda couldn't come.
The person who would replace mister Verstrepen this evening, Freddy Van Gaever, didn't come altogether for reasons unknown to me.
So, the talk evening was eventually canceled. It seems I came for nothing, a pitty.
But we did get instead a free round of beer. Maybe to be continued on another day ...
