SUBMITTING A COMPLAINT

May 09, 2007

Brussels, capital city of Flandre and of the Europian Union, is in theory officially a bilingual terrority and the law prescribes therefore that all public instances in Brussels must be able to serve clients in both languages : Dutch and French.
In practice it is mostly a French-speaking city nowaday.
Because an employer of the public instance 'De Post NV' wasn't able to communicate with me in Dutch when I wanted to make use of their services, the law of bilinguality was broken.
I'm Flemish and have the right to communicate and to be served in my motherlanguage.
That's the reason why I wrote a complaint by email to 'De Post NV', demanding excuses because there was a violation in my rights on their behalve.
