BRUSSELS & CRIMINALITY

The presentation of the Strategic Security- and Prevention Plan for 2007 - 2010 was given at the last municipal counsil of Brussels City Centre.

Naturally was it inevitable at this presentation to bring up certain information from the past concerning criminality that doesn't fit nicely in the political correct fairy tale of the government who claims that the existing insecurity is mostly based on "perception" and not on facts.

1) Since 2005, a remarkable raise is noted in criminality and the information already gathered for 2006 confirms the continuation of this negative evolution for Brussels.

2) Thefts score high, especially thefts from cars.

3) Another category that knows a raise is that of violence used against persons (intentional beating and injuries). Between 2003 and 2005, this category has increased with 50 % !

4) According to a recent study, only 19 % of all citizens living in Brussels feels themselves mostly or all the time safe. 1 upon 4 Brussels citizens claim to have been victim of criminality the past 12 months !

5) The violence and intolerance by immigrants towards gay people in Brussels is also a phenomenon that still isn't decreased. Especially the muslimsociety refuses to accept the presence of gay people in the street. An increase of aggression against gay people is proportional noted with an increase of Islamisation in the Brussels region.

6) The Brussels public transport also face with an increase of criminality and aggression (or to say it in more political correct Belgian terms : "an increasment in the perception of insecurity".

Like usual, the political correct parties shoot on the messenger, Vlaams Belang, instead of concentrating on the thousands and thousands of victims.

In an unwillingly putted on utopic multicultural society there isn't indeed a greater crime than pointing the finger repeatedly on the increasment of criminality as a result of the political correct existing policy.
